with passport size photo)
- Traders Licence or Registration certificate and
tax clearance (certified)
- Latest six (6) months statement (from current
bankers)
- Resident and Work permit for Temporary Residents
(foreign business people Only residing in Lesotho)
- Proof of trading address (lease, sub-lease, rental
agreement, chief declaration or utility bill)
- Proof of residential address (lease, sub-lease,
rental agreement, chief declaration or utility bill)
Local & International Companies & Corporations
For companies - Proprietor Limited & Close
corporations i.e. (Pty) Ltd & cc.
- Memorandum & Articles of Association (certified)
- Certificate of Incorporation(certified)
- Traders license and tax clearance(certified)
- Proof of trading address (lease, sub-lease, rental
agreement, chief declaration or utility bill)
- Board Resolution regarding authority to open
Account with full list of members (signed by
appointed director/members stating signatories &
signing arrangement)
- Valid Passport of Members/ Directors (certified
Identity with passport size photo)
- Proof of residential address of directors /
members (lease, sub-lease, rental agreement, chief
declaration or utility bill)
- Bank details of directors for new Company with no
Financials (6 months statement) – ignore if NOT new
company
- Latest Financial Statement (audited)
- Latest six (6) Months statement (from current
bankers)
Informal Bodies
NGO’s, societies, schools, churches, charities, etc.
- Constitution Document (certified)
- Registration Document (certified)
- Introduction Letter from Chairman or leader of
congregation
- Resolution by the board of Governors of a school
(regarding authority to open Account with full list
of members (signed by appointed members stating
signatories & signing arrangement)
- Resolution by Executive Committee (regarding
authority to open Account with full list of members
& signed by appointed director/members stating

- Valid passport of individuals authorized to
operate and open account.
